De l’individu à l’industrie, il y a un monde que Clarissa Tossin observe. Comment exploitons-nous nos ressources naturelles ? Quels événements subissent-elles ? Qu’inventons-nous pour transformer notre environnement en un monde moderne, connecté et respectueux de la planète ?
Il est ici question de cycle de vie, de survie et de recyclage des matériaux.
Vernissage le jeudi 1er juillet de 17:00 à 21:00. Accompagné d’une performance de Hui Zhang, designer culinaire associée au centre d’art.

Solo exhibition by Clarissa Tossin (BR)
From individual experiences of displacement to the global fallout of industrial capitalism, Clarissa Tossin tracks the full scope of the world we inhabit. How do extractive industries underlie even the most everyday aspects of our lives? What transformations are at hand for the natural resources we depend on, and what are the implications for the future? Can we transition away from exploiting our surroundings, towards an understanding that our fate as a species is truly bound up with the broader ecology? Material cycles of an almost unthinkable magnitude circumscribe the Anthropocene and the accelerating economic activity that has characterized « our » world. It too will come back to earth, and be recycled into geology.
Opening on Thursday July 1st from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Accompanied by a performance by Hui Zhang, culinary designer.

Vom Individuum zur Industrie gibt es eine Welt, die Clarissa Tossin unter die Lupe nimmt. Wie nutzen wir unsere Bodenschätze? Welcher Behandlung werden sie unterzogen? Was erfinden wir, um unsere Umwelt in eine moderne, vernetzte und nachhaltige Welt umzuwandeln?
Es geht hier um Lebenszyklus, Fortbestehen und Wiederverwertung von Materialien.
Eröffnung Donnerstag den 1.Juli 2021, 17 -21 Uhr. Mit einer Vorstellung von Hui Zhang, kulinarischer Designer.
La Kunsthalle remercie les galeries Luisa Strina de Sao Polo et Commonwealth and Council de Los Angeles pour leur aide précieuse, ainsi que l’Office National des Forêts et la Ville de Brunstatt-Didenheim pour leur collaboration.
